About

Hi Dolls!

In this blog I will share with you my beauty tips and secrets, outfit posts, hair/makeup tutorials, my views on mama-hood, health/fitness, delish recipes, home decor and random things about my life! :) Basically anything I feel that will help you feel beautiful inside and out!! Thanks for reading and please join my site as a "follower" to stay current with what's going on!

I'd love to share with you a little bit about my life. My name is Princessa (Prin-chess-a) Marie Guthrie. I prefer to go by my nickname, Chessa. I'm 23 years old.

I am married to my sexy husband, L. Gavin Guthrie who just turned 27. We were married 4 1/2 years ago in the Mesa, Arizona temple on June 20th, 2008.

He is the wittiest, funniest, most laid back guy I know. I'm so lucky to have him as my best friend. :)

We became parents to our baby, Gavin Gram Guthrie (goes by Gram) on October 22nd, 2011.

This guy is the craziest, wildest, funniest, most adorable little babe on the planet! He is so small with such a BIG personality. We love him more than life itself!

Before all of this I grew up in a house with my parents, 2 brothers and 5 sisters in Mesa.

For more of my recent family pictures from both sides of our family, click here and here!

I became a hairstylist at 17 and worked in the most prestigious salon in Arizona for almost 4 years. I started modeling for FORD/Robert Black in Scottsdale, Az when I was 18.
I was barely 19 when I married my husband. When I was 22 I had my first born babe, Mr. Grammers! I guess you could say I grew up fast. Haha but I wouldn't trade any of it. I'm so blessed to have this life!!

I started blogging on my other blog, www.gavinlovescessa.blogspot.com, when I was due with our baby. I have posted about our wonderful life as a family and the many adventures we have been on. I wanted to start this blog so I could focus more on the things I love and that inspire me and save more about my family for that blog. I'm so passionate about beauty, hair, fashion and anything else girly!! I love baking but also love health and nutrition. All things in moderation. :) I love to hear feedback and questions so feel free to ask me anything!

Thanks for reading, dolls!

  2. Hi Connie! Thank you and thanks for following along!

This weather is making all of us have dry hair! I don't know what brands you have in salons close by in California, but I really like Alfaparf's conditioner for dry hair. It's super light weight as well which won't make your hair limp! I'd also recommend doing a deep conditioning treatment every other week for a short while until you feel your hair becoming soft again and not dry. An other cool trick is using coconut oil as a mask for your hair! You can do this as much as once a week if you'd like :)

Good luck with everything! We miss you a ton!! Hope all is well :)
